Bytel can provide complete end-to-end integrated communication solutions for businesses of all sizes, incorporating high quality Internet, VOIP & Hosting solutions together with competitive call packages using Tier 1 providers. The customer's development group staff can be connected to the Bytel Network either directly via Private Circuit between the customer's LAN and a Bytel POP or via Broadband ADSL or SDSL.

BUSINESS ADSL

 

A low contention internet solution suitable for the majority of businesses. We are Northern Ireland's only internet provider directly connected to a Tier 1 point of presence.
SDSL - faster than ADSL as it has the same speed both ways (symmetrical) which means the bandwidth available is equivalent to a high-speed leased line, but at a much lower cost. The service offers instant high-speed Internet access to multiple users on office networks, with a low contention ratio of 10:1 giving a seamless, business focused connection.

BUSINESS SDSL

 

SDSL technology will improve solutions that rely extensively on the Internet such as Virtual Private Networks, Voice over IP (VoIP, Video conferencing and point-to-point connectivity. Such services rely on large amounts of bandwidth and low contention ratios in order to maximise the potential of the applications.
As SDSL is dependent on distance from the exchange, it is essential that Bytel conduct a survey to see if Business SDSL is feasible on your premises.

Leased Lines

 

Bytel has the ability to provide LAN, WAN, Leased Line, Point to Point and Fully Managed Data Services with uncontended bandwidth throughout Ireland. We offer private leased lines (uncontended) to suit customer needs from 64k to 1Gb. With a fully managed service, the customer premises router is supplied and maintained.

Fibre Ring

 

Bytel is committed to advancing IP infrastructure Technology within N.I. Atlas Networks will be the first to deploy an "Open Access" high capacity fibre network throughout NI, which extends across R.O.I. terminating in Dublin. For the first time NI customers will have the freedom to access and use their very own fibre infrastructure. (link to Network systems section)
